Kent’s accreditations

At Kent Institute Australia:

Our Undergraduate Certificates and Bachelor degrees are fully accredited by Australia’s independent national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education – The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). This means that Kent is responsible for maintaining compliance with the the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021
Our VET and Higher Education courses are recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), with our Bachelor Degrees at AQF Level 7. Kent is responsible for the issuance of AQF certification documentation.
Nationally Recognised Training is a formal process to ensure training meets the standard required by industry. It is training based on National Training Packages or courses/programs that have been formally accredited through state or territory accreditation bodies. Kent is a Registered Training Organisation regulated by ASQA and delivers Nationally Recognised Training which meets the standard required by industry and is based on National Training Packages.
Our Bachelor of Accounting degree is fully accredited and recognised by both CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Kent is approved to offer courses to International Students and is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). It adhered to the National Code and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act.
Our Bachelor of Information Technology delivered at the Sydney and Melbourne Campuses is professionally accredited by the Australian Computer Society. (Delivery at the Brisbane Campus is not currently accredited by ACS

Approved Insitute for student visas

Kent is an Australian government approved provider under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to offer courses to international students who wish to apply for a student visa through the Department of Home Affairs to study in Australia.

Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia

Kent has been a member of the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA ) since 2001. The ITECA is the largest body representing the private education and training sector in Australia.

Training.gov.au

Kent is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), so our vocational courses are listed with (Training.gov.au) , the official National Register of information on Training Packages, Qualifications, Courses, Units of Competency and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
