Kent continues to prepare our students for their future with workshops like “How to be the CEO of my own Career” and “How to Market your own Brand.”
Career Strategist Tyson Day was present at the Melbourne campus to share his insights on the importance of self-leadership and personal brand development in the workplace. The workshop was held on the 16th of May 2019 and Kent students were engaged with Tyson’s session.
Tyson has a huge range of experience working with international students and major education providers. He is also a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia and a fellow coach at BetterUp, a digital platform that connects professional coaches with those seeking career advice.
“Being the CEO of my own career” was the topic for Sydney campus last 8th of May 2019. The workshop was led by Michael Craner who holds the following credentials: Masters HRM & Coaching (University of Sydney), Grad Dip Mgt (Central Queensland University), and B. Comm. (UNSW) Kent students became more aware of the impact of their minds, bodies, spirits and relationships to their future careers.
Michael has extensive experience in senior line and functional management, human resources, learning and organisational development and consulting. He has worked for organisations such as Boral, Transfield Services, Caltex, Australian Institute of Management and Australian Paper. Internationally, he has developed and implemented the Asia People Development Plan for a large multinational organisation across seven countries in Asia and has consulted to a variety of private and public sector organisations in leadership, strategy, business relationships, organisational development and development coaching.
