By completing this workshop, students will gain a hands-on experience at preparing financial statements, apply various financial analysis techniques, comment on the financial health of the company, conduct an audit, form an audit opinion and communicate the results in the form of an audit report. Most importantly, students get to role play prospective job roles and develop their interest for the various streams of accounting.
Kanchan Sood is a highly experienced accounting professional and academic with notable industry qualifications (CPA Australia, M.COM, MECO, MBA). She has 14 years of extensive experience in teaching and industry practice. She is a full member of CPA Australia and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. She also holds an associate membership of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
