Emeritus Professor Brian Charles Low
AM, PhD, Doctor of Univ (Honorary), BSc, Dip Ed, BEd Hons
Governing Board Deputy Chair/Interim CEO
Professor Low has more than 30 years of academic management and leadership experience working with universities such as the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Macquarie University and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). In 1996 he was appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor, Vice President (Academic) and Professor of the University for UTS. Professor Low retired from UTS in July 2001. During the period 2002 – 2011 he acted as Panel Chair for expert panels established by the NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) for the Registration and Accreditation of Private Providers of Higher Education and their programs of study in NSW.
Daniel Burt
Executive Manager - IT & Facilities
Daniel is a multi-skilled IT Manager with over 20 years’ experience in IT staff supervision and development, and over 24 years of technical experience. This has been gained in complex national and large global enterprises in a variety of working environments, including Education, Consulting, Professional Services and Insurance Broking.
Daniel and the IT team aim to provide quality IT systems and services, along with clean modern campuses for all our students.
Pam Deacon
Executive Manager - Finance & Administration
Pam is a Certified Practicing Accountant and has in excess of 30 years’ of accounting experience, Pam spent the past 19 years managing the financial operations for academic institutions. Prior to Kent, Pam was Group Manager – Accounting at C Management Services, managing the financial operations for Australian and offshore campuses of CQ University. Pam got her start in the accounting industry by working in the Chartered Accounting field and then moved into Company accounting.
Pam is passionate about ensuring Kent remains financially viable, its financial position is accurately represented, that Company policy and procedures are followed as well as ensuring the Governing Board are aware of the financial position of the company on a monthly basis.

Jana Jovancevic
Executive Manager - Governance, Risk & Compliance
Jana Jovancevic has held variety of roles in both public and private education sectors spanning across Academic Management, Academic and Corporate Governance, Policy, Audit and Risk and Compliance and Educational Operations. As an Academic, Jana’s experience in the ELICOS, Pathways, VET and University Sectors encompasses roles at Navitas, La Trobe University, Curtin University, Macquarie University and a number of private education providers. Jana’s Executive Management experience includes roles such as Associate Director Governance and Administration and Associate Director Programs at Macquarie University, which contributed to the establishment of Macquarie University International College.
Jana is passionate about best practice which delivers the best outcomes for students and which is based on active engagement and collaboration of stakeholders across all tiers of the organisation.

Andrea Poletti
Head of Vocational Education
Andrea has over 25 years’ experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in various senior leadership roles at TAFE NSW, Le Cordon Bleu and RMIT University. She also has extensive experience in leading the design, development and delivery of industry relevant, innovative domestic and international training programs.
As a VET leader with strong experience leading teams in Business, IT, Aged Care and Tourism & Hospitality, Andrea was recognised for her commitment and awarded the Chairman’s Award at the 2019 Tourism and Training Australia Awards for outstanding contribution to industry training. She works in collaboration with industry to ensure that training is relevant, creating a supply of trained employees with industry relevant skills to address current and future skill needs.
